Softball Recap: St. Petersburg Green Devils vs. Seminole Warhawks
St. Petersburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 17-7 walloping at the hands of the Seminole Warhawks. At the plate, Brittany Gingrich was a standout: she got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, a triple, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Graci Tubbs, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and a stolen base.
St. Petersburg's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Seminole, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
