Dorman entered their tilt with Asheville on Friday with 18 consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with 19. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 2-0.

Reese Shugart paced Dorman's offense, picking up nine kills. Shugart got some help from Ramsey Larke Chastain and her 18 assists. Chastain was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Dorman's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Asheville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Coincidentally, Dorman and Asheville will both be playing Hough the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Huskies at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Cavaliers will head out to face them at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
