The scorekeeper got an easy start on Wednesday as neither West Ottawa nor Forest Hills Central made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Panthers fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 5-3. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Connor Knapp made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

West Ottawa's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Forest Hills Central, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
