Basketball Game Preview: Southeastern Local Trojans vs. Cedarville Indians

Southeastern Local is 0-10 against Cedarville since February of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Southeastern Local Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the Cedarville Indians at 7:30 p.m. Cedarville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Southeastern Local, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Southeastern Local beat Mechanicsburg 51-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Meanwhile, Cedarville lost to Fairbanks at home by a 61-44 margin on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 610th, while the Panthers are ranked 157th).

Southeastern Local's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Cedarville, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Southeastern Local came up short against Cedarville when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 42-36. Can Southeastern Local avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
