Volleyball Recap: Appalachian Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Appalachian and Southeastern meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Mustangs. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Appalachian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Southeastern, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Appalachian has already played their next matchup (against Jefferson Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Southeastern, they will take on Hayden at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
