Soquel skates past Casa Roble with ease

The Soquel Knights had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed by Casa Roble at home to the tune of 42-14. The victory was familiar territory for Soquel who now have nine in a row.

Soquel's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Justice Grauel tebong, who rushed for 81 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. Those three rushing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Grauel tebong. Tyreis Lundy was another key contributor, rushing for 127 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.

Casa Roble's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Connor Campbell, who rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 196 yards and a touchdown.

Soquel's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.0 points per game. As for Casa Roble, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-2.

Soquel will square off against Jurupa Hills at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Jurupa Hills is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games. Casa Roble does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
