Football Recap: Palm Glades Prep Academy Piles Up the Points Against Redland Christian Academy

Palm Glades Prep Academy owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 28-0 victory over the Redland Christian Academy FALCONS. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the FALCONS are ranked 312th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Barbara Rodriguez threw for 28 yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Pariis Poitier rushed for 77 yards on only eight carries.

The win made it two in a row for Palm Glades Prep Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.5 points over those games. As for Redland Christian Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Palm Glades Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 35-0 victory against BridgePrep Village Green on the 11th. Redland Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pinecrest Glades Academy at 4:00 p.m. on April 3rd.
