Baseball Recap: Piscataway Comes Up Short

Piscataway managed to slip by Kennedy Memorial the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Chiefs came up short against the Mustangs on Thursday, falling 16-6. The Chiefs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 9-8.

Piscataway's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Kennedy Memorial, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Mustangs beat Piscataway by a score of 17-6 later that day.
