It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Green Hope ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the East Chapel Hill Wildcats 7-6. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.
Rachael Baldyga made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
