            The William Allen Canaries are taking a road trip to  face off against the Nazareth Area Blue Eagles  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. William Allen has given up an average of 7.3  runs per game this season, but Wednesday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.

For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Blue Eagles have posted  against the Vikings since May 10, 2018.
 The team  relied heavily on  Ryan Petruska, who  went 2-for-4 with one  triple, one  double,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Matt Daems, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Nazareth Area pushed their record up to 5-2 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for William Allen, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
