            Softball Recap: Yosemite Badgers vs. Minarets Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Yosemite). They walked away with  a   17-12  win over the Minarets Mustangs  on Friday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 11, 2023, but that streak is no more.
Yosemite got a  massive  performance out of  Jadyn Johnson, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs and one  RBI.  Natalie Misa was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  run.

Yosemite picked up their first road  victory, bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Minarets, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record  this season.
 Coincidentally, Yosemite and Minarets will both be playing Sierra the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will head out to face the Chieftains at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday, while the Badgers will head out to face them  at 4:00  p.m.  on  the 22nd.
