Softball Recap: Crismon Rattlers vs. Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks
Crismon was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Desert Sunrise on Tuesday. The Crismon Rattlers never let the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks get on the board and left with a 20-0 victory. That 20 run margin sets a new team best for the Rattlers this season.
Emma Phelps looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 7 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, Sophia Salvidar and Isabella Salado did most of the damage at the plate: Salvidar scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4, while Salado went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
