Baseball Recap: Sinton Drops Highest Score of Season Against Ingleside

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sinton). They never let the Ingleside Mustangs get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory on Tuesday. Give the Pirates' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Kash Wood was incredible, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. Ace Fuentes also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Sinton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Sinton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Ingleside, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-11-1.
