Basketball Recap: George Stevens Academy Takes a Loss

If George Stevens Academy was feeling good fresh off their 54-29 takedown of Woodland last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The George Stevens Academy Eagles were just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 40-39 to the Bucksport Golden Bucks. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Bucks earlier this season, when they won 36-35.

George Stevens Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Bucksport, their record is now 10-6.

George Stevens Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Mattanawcook at 6:30 p.m. As for Bucksport, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
