Soccer Recap: Enterprise Comes Up Short at Home Against Pike Road

Enterprise unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Pike Road Patriots by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

The victory was the third in a row for Pike Road, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Coming up, Enterprise will head out to face off against Vestavia Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pike Road, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Opelika at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pike Road is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season.
