Volleyball Recap: Ten Straight Home Victories for Creekside

Creekside won the last time they faced Tocoi Creek and things went their way on Friday too. The Creekside Knights blew past the Tocoi Creek Toros 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-20.

Tyce Donnelly paced Creekside's offense, picking up nine kills. Donnelly got some help from Andrew Bennie and his 28 assists. Bennie also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Jack Robinson, racking up two apiece.

Creekside's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. As for Tocoi Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Creekside will take on Menendez at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tocoi Creek, they will challenge Spruce Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
