Lincoln came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the New Albany Eagles 41-6 at home. With the Golden Lions ahead 34-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Lincoln had a senior duo take command as Brennen Ward threw for 245 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes and Taizaun Burns gained 130 total yards and three touchdowns. Burns showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 57 yards. Avion Brown helped Ward out on the ground, rushing for 78 yards and a touchdown.
