Basketball Game Preview: West Warriors vs. Paramount Pirates

The West Warriors will take on the Paramount Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. West will be strutting in after a win while Paramount will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, West didn't have too much trouble with Hoover as they won 77-58. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Paramount was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Los Amigos, falling 79-53. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 526th, while the Lobos are ranked 210th).

Paramount's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for West, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
