Volleyball Game Preview: University Bulldogs vs. Resurrection Christian Cougars + How To Watch

University has gone 8-2 against Resurrection Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, University beat Grand Junction Central 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 22-25, 25-9.

University can attribute much of their success to Madison Nation, who had 13 digs and six aces, and Charlie Sherman, who had four aces and three digs. Those six aces gave Nation a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Resurrection Christian put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Roosevelt.

Resurrection Christian never let Roosevelt on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-12, 25-21.

University's record is now 11-2. As for Resurrection Christian, their record now sits at 12-0.

University beat Resurrection Christian 3-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
