Baseball Recap: Rising Sun Shiners vs. North Decatur Chargers
Rising Sun couldn't beat North Decatur on Saturday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Shiners fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 6-5. The Shiners were not able to make up for their loss to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.
Landon Simpson was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Brayden Burris, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
