Basketball Recap: West Jefferson Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when West Jefferson challenged Firth on Saturday. The West Jefferson Panthers fell just short of the Firth Cougars by a score of 57-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Panthers have suffered since January 28th.

West Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Firth, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Coming up, West Jefferson will face off against Ririe at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Firth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
