Volleyball Recap: Calvary Day Makes It Eight in a Row at Home + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Calvary Day, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Glynn Academy Terrors on Monday, sneaking past 2-1. This was payback for the Cavaliers, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Calvary Day was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (60-58), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-23, 15-12.

Despite the loss, Glynn Academy still got an impressive performance from Kara Burandt, who had six digs and four aces.

Calvary Day's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. As for Glynn Academy, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Coincidentally, Calvary Day and Glynn Academy will both be playing Richmond Hill the next time they take the court. The Terrors will host the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Cavaliers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
