Softball Recap: Lincoln-Way Central Knights vs. Lincoln-Way West Warriors
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lincoln-Way Central ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They skirted past the Lincoln-Way West Warriors 7-6. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.
Lisabella Dimitrijevic made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one home run and three RBI.
