Baseball Recap: Lake-Lehman Takes a Loss

Lake-Lehman was the 10-4 winner over Pine Grove when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Lake-Lehman fell 6-3 to Pine Grove on Saturday.

Chris Sholtis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Will Jenkins, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Lake-Lehman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pine Grove, the win got them back to even at 1-1-1.

Coming up, Lake-Lehman will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Greater Nanticoke Area at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pine Grove, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Pine Grove Cardinals duke it out with Southern Columbia Area Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
