Basketball Recap: Foxborough Comes Up Short

Foxborough lost against Mansfield back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Foxborough Warriors fell 58-48 to the Mansfield Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Hornets are ranked 12th).

Foxborough is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. As for Mansfield, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Foxborough will take on Sharon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Foxborough is facing Sharon at the right time seeing as Sharon is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Mansfield, they will challenge Taunton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Taunton will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mansfield surely won't give up without a fight.
