Soccer Recap: Radnor Takes a Loss

Radnor was the 2-0 winner over Ridley when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Raptors fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Radnor came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 90th, while Ridley are ranked 401st).

Radnor's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-4. As for Ridley, their win ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.

Looking ahead, Radnor will host Conestoga at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Conestoga's last seven contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Ridley, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Valley Forge Military Academy on the 7th.
