Basketball Game Preview: Nevada Union Miners vs. Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos

The Nevada Union Miners will head out to square off against the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Nevada Union's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matches.

Nevada Union will face Twelve Bridges after dropping another heartbreaker against Placer on Tuesday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within 3.1 of beating them. Nevada Union took a hard 78-62 fall against Placer. The Miners haven't had much luck with the Hillmen recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Twelve Bridges beat Yuba City 61-52 on Tuesday. Given the Raging Rhinos' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Honkers are ranked 794th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Twelve Bridges is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Nevada Union, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6.

Nevada Union didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Twelve Bridges in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 61-55 victory.
