Basketball Game Preview: Andover Panthers vs. Arkport Central Bluejays

The Andover Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Arkport Central Bluejays at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Andover has 11 straight victories, Arkport Central has ten straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. Andover blew past Houghton Academy 93-37. Andover has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 26 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Arkport Central ended up a good deal behind Avoca-Prattsburgh on Thursday and lost 44-25. While losing is never fun, the Bluejays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 841st, while the Titans are ranked 321st).

Arkport Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Andover, their win bumped their record up to 11-0.

Everything came up roses for Andover against Arkport Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2025, as the team secured a 96-28 victory. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bluejays turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
