Vestaburg never let their opponents score on Monday. They were the clear victors by  an  8-0 margin over the Breckenridge Huskies. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won 14 matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
The result came thanks to  Sasha Page's shutout, as she gave up just three  hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Kelsey Cole, who  went 3-for-4 with two  RBI and one  run. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ella Beres, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  run.
Vestaburg has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Breckenridge, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.
 Looking ahead, Vestaburg will square off against All Saints Central at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Breckenridge, they will welcome Glenn  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
