Emma Severson Game Report: @ Pepin/Alma

Emma Severson gave up the fewest walks she has over her last four games on Tuesday. She was unstoppable, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Severson and Melrose-Mindoro will be playing in front of their home fans against Augusta at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Severson's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Mustangs' six-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Severson and the Mustangs surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
