Sherman is 9-0-1 against Van since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tide will face off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Sherman will be strutting in after a win while Van will be coming in after a loss.

Sherman will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Greenbrier West on Wednesday. The Tide walked away with a 14-9 victory over the Cavaliers.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Van's offense. They lost 13-0 to Tug Valley on Wednesday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Van's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Sherman, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.

Sherman took their victory against Van in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 19-1 score. Do the Tide have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
