It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Yuma Catholic had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Empire Ravens a 4-0 shutout. The Shamrocks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by three goals or more this season.

Gean Lagarda and Van Winburn scored all four of Yuma Catholic's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 41 goals.

Yuma Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 79 goals over those ten games. As for Empire, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
