Basketball Recap: Kennedy Piles Up the Points Against Roosevelt Educational

After only 19 points in their last match, Kennedy made sure to put some points up on the board against Roosevelt Educational on Thursday. The Kennedy Knights simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Roosevelt Educational Roughriders 69-39. Considering the Knights' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Kennedy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Roosevelt Educational, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Kennedy will square off against Marshall Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marshall Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Kennedy likes a good challenge. As for Roosevelt Educational, they will challenge Columbus at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
