Football Recap: Tough Loss for Bonanza

Bonanza unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Lost River Raiders. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Bonanza's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lost River, the win was the 12th in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 1-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonanza is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Reedsport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lost River, they will take on St. Paul at 2:00 p.m. on the 12th.
