Football Recap: Mount Juliet Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Mount Juliet Christian Academy fell victim to Clarksville Academy and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 21-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Saints haven't been shut out since back in September.

Even if they lost, Mount Juliet Christian Academy's defense still kept up the pressure with eight sacks. Leading the way was Thatcher Lanier with five. He is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as he's now posted at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Mount Juliet Christian Academy's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Clarksville Academy, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-6.

As of now, neither Mount Juliet Christian Academy nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
