Basketball Game Preview: Fellowship Christian Paladins vs. Paideia Pythons

The Fellowship Christian Paladins will head out to square off against the Paideia Pythons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Fellowship Christian will bounce into Monday's match after beating Mount Pisgah Christian, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Fellowship Christian enjoyed a cozy 62-47 win over Mount Pisgah Christian on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Paideia had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 62-60 victory over the War Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pythons have posted since November 27, 2023.

Paideia's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for Fellowship Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-16.

Fellowship Christian took a serious blow against Paideia when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 71-35. Can Fellowship Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
