Volleyball Recap: Oklahoma Christian's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

Oklahoma Christian and Mount St. Mary squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Oklahoma Christian had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Rockets. The Saints were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rockets earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Oklahoma Christian's offense was headlined by Marley Robbins and Rylee Roof, who picked up 14 kills apiece. They got some help from Kaylin Cook and her 36 assists. Robbins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

With the defeat, Oklahoma Christian broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 27-11. As for Mount St. Mary, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-11 record this season.

Oklahoma Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount St. Mary, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Bishop McGuinness on the 25th.
