Basketball Game Preview: Victory Christian Academy Patriots vs. Tabernacle Christian Rams

The Victory Christian Academy Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Tabernacle Christian Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Victory Christian Academy is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 62 points back in November, they were much more limited against New Manna Christian on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Wind 66-14. The loss was the Patriots' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Tabernacle Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch last Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 67-41 to New Manna Christian. The match marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Victory Christian Academy will have to keep a close watch on Cortlyn Tanner and Jayden Walton, a pair of players who had a big impact on Tabernacle Christian's prior game. Tanner posted 12 points, while Walton had ten points. Another player making a difference was Crash Armor, who put up six points.

Tabernacle Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Victory Christian Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
