Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Comes Up Short

If Notre Dame was riding high fresh off their 28-3 takedown of Hundred on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Notre Dame came up short against the Elkins Tigers on Thursday, falling 11-0.

Notre Dame saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaiden Posey, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Notre Dame didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-4 defeat against Preston on the 22nd. As for Elkins, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 7-4 loss against Grafton on the 22nd.
