Volleyball Recap: Bells Panthers vs. Paris Wildcats

Bells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Paris Wildcats. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Bells came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23, 19-25, 19-25, 15-13.

Paris can attribute much of their success to Audrey Del Toro, who had 21 digs. Those 21 digs gave Del Toro a new career-high. Riley Nelms was another key player, hitting 90.9% for ten kills and nine digs and two blocks.
