Devin Patrick put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over six innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Patrick's strong effort led Palmyra-Eagle over Parkview and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers are a perfect 10-0 against the Vikings going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
