Volleyball Game Preview: MICDS Rams vs. Lutheran South Lancers

MICDS hasn't had much luck against Lutheran South recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rams will look to defend their home court against the Lancers at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

MICDS lost 3-0 to Burroughs on Saturday.

MICDS was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Lutheran South came up short against St. Joseph's Academy on Wednesday and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16.

MICDS' loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Lutheran South, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

MICDS came out on top in a nail-biter against Lutheran South when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Lancers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
