Basketball Game Preview: Kenston Forest Kavaliers vs. Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights

The Kenston Forest Kavaliers will head out to take on the Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Kenston Forest came up short against Southampton Academy and fell 37-29.

Kenston Forest's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Hartly Andrews, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds, and Regan Tanner, who posted ten points along with seven boards and three steals. Those ten points gave Tanner a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 30-26 to Brunswick Academy. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Kenston Forest dropped their record down to 4-5 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Kenston Forest strolled past Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 46-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kenston Forest since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
