If Linden was feeling good  fresh off their  45-12 takedown of Swartz Creek last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles fell  46-41 to the Fenton Tigers on Friday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in November of 2024.
 Linden's loss  came despite strong showings from  Noah Thomas and  Max Widner.  Thomas picked up 104 receiving yards and one  score, while  Widner threw for 179 yards and one  touchdown. Thomas also  rushed for 11  rushing yards, marking his first of the season.
  Noah Sheil had an outrageously good game for Fenton as he threw for 333 yards and four  TDs, and also rushed for 87 yards and three  touchdowns. Those  333  passing yards gave  Sheil a new career-high.
The  loss was their first  on the road , dropping their record down to 5-2. As for Fenton, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  contests. Linden will face off against Lake Fenton at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Blue Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.57  points per  matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Fenton, they will take on Goodrich at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 18th. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,135 yards in their previous games.
