Baseball Game Preview: South Granville Vikings vs. Seaforth Hawks

The South Granville Vikings will head out on the road to face off against the Seaforth Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Granville hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

South Granville fell victim to Bunn and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 12-0 to the Wildcats. Considering the last time the Vikings couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Seaforth might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-3 to Grace Christian, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

South Granville's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Seaforth, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.

South Granville beat Seaforth 8-5 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
