Baseball Game Preview: Harrison Panthers vs. Pueblo East Eagles

The Harrison Panthers will face off against the Pueblo East Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

On Saturday, Harrison got the win against Mitchell by a conclusive 12-2. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Marauders: they've now won four in a row.

Aiden Archuleta was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Harrison got a big performance out of Richard Galarza, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits Galarza has posted since back in April of 2024. Santiago Martinez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Harrison always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mitchell only posted an OBP of .263.

Meanwhile, Pueblo East gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Rye a 12-0 shutout.
