Soccer Game Preview: Monte Vista vs. Villa Park

Monte Vista's tournament run continued when they took on Hoover on Saturday. Monte Vista beat Hoover by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Monarchs.

Anthony Briseno-Raddatz and Bill Isaho scored both of Monte Vista's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, Villa Park kept a clean sheet against Canyon on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Comanches.

Monte Vista's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Villa Park, their win bumped their record up to 6-1-1.
