Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. Lanier

Jefferson and Lanier are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but likely not for long. The Jefferson Mustangs will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against the Lanier Voks at 5:30 p.m. Jefferson will be strutting in after a victory while Lanier will be coming in after a defeat.

Jefferson is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Fox Tech onto the board and left with a 5-0 win on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Lanier came up short against Taft on Saturday, falling 4-1.

Jefferson now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Lanier, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
