Pierce won the last time they faced Hamilton and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bears secured a 44-39 W over the Braves. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Despite the loss, Hamilton still got an impressive performance from Case Porter, who posted 15 points and eight boards. The game was Porter's fourth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Enneking, who had 12 points.

Pierce's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Hamilton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Pierce will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Woodland at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Hamilton, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lindhurst at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
