Volleyball Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Takes a Loss

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Rowe Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Isabella Munoz, who had five digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having also posted 12 or more assists the last four times she's played.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-24. As for Rowe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-12.

Coincidentally, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest and Rowe will both be playing Pioneer the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Diamondbacks at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Javelinas will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
